Premier League: Cardiff vs Liverpool preview
Liverpool are back in the title race but they need all three points at Cardiff on Saturday if they want to stay there. The Reds thrashed Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford last weekend and the result put them in second place in the league table, four points behind leaders Chelsea but with a game in hand. Cardiff were beaten 2-1 by Everton last weekend and they are down in 19th place, three points away from safety. Liverpool are in splendid form at the moment, they have won their last five league matches and scored at least three goals in each of them. Despite that enthusiasm first team coach Mike Marsh plays down their title chances. "We haven't achieved anything yet," he said. "It has been well documented that we started the season wanting to finish in the top four and we are in with a shout of that. Anything more than a top four finish would be a bonus. We are taking each game as it comes and just trying to win every game. The home side could miss Ben Turner who is in doubt due to an injury so Kevin Catherine-Théophile could play as a central defender. Liverpool don't have any fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, Coates and Enrique will surely be out of contention. Coutinho could regain his place in the starting eleven instead of Raheem Sterling. I predict a 3-0 win for Liverpool, here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Cardiff win - 8/1 Draw - 4/1 Liverpool win - 1/3
