LaLiga: Barcelona vs Espanyol derby
The 210th edition of the Barcelonian Derby will take place at Camp Nou on Saturday, when LaLiga leaders Barcelona host local rivals Espanyol. The reverse fixture was an easy one for the Blaugrana, they won it 4-0 with goals from Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez and a double from Lionel Messi. Barcelona have won four of the last six derbies in all competitions, but last season Espanyol managed to grab a 1-1 draw at home in LaLiga and a 1-0 home victory in the Spanish Cup. However, Espanyol have not won a league match at Camp Nou since 2009, when they grabbed a 2-1 victory. Overall, Barcelona have won the derby 122 times, while Espanyol tasted victory on just 44 occasions. Barcelona are on the home stretch, they have a ten-point advantage over second-placed Atletico Madrid with ten matches left in the season, so they need to win seven out of ten to win the title. They have won their last six matches in all competitions, including two derbies with Real Madrid, and have not lost a game since January, when they suffered a 2-0 defeat at Sevilla in the Spanish Cup. Their last appearance before the international break was a 4-1 triumph at Betis, with a superb hat-trick from Lionel Messi. Rafinha and Ousmane Dembele are out injured, while backup goalie Jasper Cillessen is a doubt. Espanyol will most likely have a quiet final part of the season, they are currently in thirteenth place but the relegation zone is nine points behind them. In theory they would need another couple of wins to guarantee their place in LaLiga for next season, so no major worries for the final ten matches of the campaign. Before the international break Espanyol lost 1-0 at home against Sevilla, ending a seven-game unbeaten streak in all competitions. Sergi Darder is suspended for Saturday's game, while Pablo Piatti, David Lopez and Facundo Ferreyra are all out injured. Probable line-ups: Barcelona: Ter Stegen - Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba - Rakitic, Busquets, Arthur - Messi, Suarez, Coutinho Espanyol: Lopez - Rosales, Hermoso, Nando, Vila - Granero, Roca, Melendo - Perez, Iglesias, Lei My prediction: Barcelona to win 3-0, the Blaugrana are in great shape and the title is getting closer and closer. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Barcelona win - 1.14 Draw - 9.00 Espanyol win - 15.00
