Liverpool will be hoping to record back-to-back league wins when they host Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday. The Reds have recorded three draws and three wins under new manager Jurgen Klopp, but they still have a lot of games to win before becoming real contenders for a top-four finish. Liverpool have lost three and won just one of the last five direct meetings with Palace. The visitors will be looking for their first win in five games. It's also interesting to point out that Palace have scored three goals in each of the last three league meetings with Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp has been in charge at Liverpool for a month now, he started his reign with three consecutive draws and then recorded three consecutive wins in three different competitions. The winning streak started with the League Cup victory over Bournemouth, continued with the impressive 3-1 triumph at champions Chelsea and ended with an Europa League over Rubin Kazan. Liverpool have recorded just two wins from their last six matches at Anfield, a tally that is simply not good enough for such a big club. Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana, Martin Skrtel and Lucas Leiva have all been rested for the Europa League match, so they will be fresh and ready to play on Sunday.
Crystal Palace have caused Liverpool all sorts of problems in recent history, a 3-3 draw ended their hopes of winning the title in 2014 while last season the Reds lost to Palace in Steven Gerrard's farewell game. Moreover, Palace have recorded great results away from home under Alan Pardew, won nine and lost just four since the manager took charge. However, their form has gone up and down this season, leaving them in mid-table at the moment. Connor Wickham might not be ready for a return yet, while Marouane Chamakh will probably remain out of contention. Dwight Gayle will have to undergo a late fitness test.
Probable line-ups:
Liverpool: Mignolet - Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno - Milner, Leiva, Can - Coutinho, Firmino - Benteke
Crystal Palace: Hennessey - Souare, Delaney, Dann, Ward - Cabaye, McCarthur - Zaha, Puncheon, Bolasie - Bamford
My prediction: Liverpool to win 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Liverpool win - 1.66 Draw - 3.80 Crystal Palace win - 6.00

Like everybody else, I also expected win for the home team in this match.Eventually,we were all surprised with the result. This is the reason why the Premier League is most interesting leauge in the world.Liverpool was muc hbetter team on the pitch, but it sometimes is not enough to secure win.

Not so surprising result as it looks I think, Liverpool still searching for their style of play under Klopp and Palace are team with some really fast players, dangerous on counters for every opponent.
