Tottenham and Chelsea restart their Premier League efforts with a London derby, the two teams meet at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. Last season Chelsea won 2-1 at Tottenham thanks to a double from Marcos Alonso, but the Spurs got revenge with a 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture. Alvaro Morata had put the Blues ahead in that match, but Tottenham fought back and turned things around with a goal from Christian Eriksen and a brace from Dele Alli. Overall, Chelsea have won three of the last six direct matches in all competitions, while Tottenham grabbed two wins.
Tottenham will have something to prove in this match, because so far they have lost both against leaders Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool. Now they face third-placed Chelsea, and the Spurs are just one point behind the Blues in fourth place. Tottenham always seemed to have problems against the big teams, they also lost 4-2 against Barcelona and 2-1 against Inter in the Champions League this season. They did secure four consecutive wins in all competitions before the international break, but the calibre of the opponents was not even close to Chelsea's. Manager Mauricio Pochettino still has plenty of injury concerns, with Vincent Janssen, Mousa Dembele, Davinson Sanchez and Danny Rose all out of contention.
Chelsea are still undefeated in all competitions since the start of the season, they did lose the Community Shield against Manchester City, but then recorded eighteen matches without losing. However, they have been held to draws four times in the Premier League, including the goalless stalemate against Everton just before the international break. The Blues have a rock-solid defence, with just eight goals conceded in the Premier League so far and just one in five away matches. Mateo Kovacic is the only injury doubt for manager Maurizio Sarri, who will most likely choose Alvaro Morata over Olivier Giroud in attack.
Tottenham: Lloris - Aurier, Alderweireld, Foyth, Davies - Sissoko, Dier - Moura, Alli, Eriksen - Kane
Chelsea: Arrizabalaga - Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso - Kante, Jorginho, Barkley - Willian, Morata, Hazard
My prediction: 2-2 draw, it should be an intense match with chances to score on both sides.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Chelsea win - 2.60

3-1 was the smallest margin in which Tottenham could of won that one.
The Spurs completely outplayed their opponents during biggest part of the game and Chelsea were quite sloppy in defense which of course should be weird considering their manager is Italian really.
Obviously Chelsea would not be able to compete for the title against high flying City and Liverpool this season...while for Spurs it's been a great result which will give them a lot of confidence in the PL top four race.
