Defending champions Manchester City will have their title ambitions tested on Sunday as they face rivals Manchester United in the city derby at the Etihad Stadium. Last season Manchester City won the first derby 2-1 at Old Trafford, but Manchester United got their revenge with a 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture. Paul Pogba was the hero of that match for United, the Red Devils fought back from 2-0 down and the Frenchman scored the first two goals. Overall, Manchester United have won three of the last six direct matches in all competitions, while Manchester City have won just two.
Manchester City are on a six-game winning streak in all competitions and they have lost just one match since the start of the season. They have won the last three Premier League matches, including last week's 6-1 victory over Southampton, and are leading the league table with a two-point advantage over Chelsea and Liverpool. This week the Citizens kept on scoring as they thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0 in the Champions League, almost securing their qualification with two games to spare. Claudio Bravo and Kevin De Bruyne are injured, while Eliaquim Mangala could make his return.
Manchester United are on a three-game winning streak in all competitions, not as impressive as the Citizens but it's still a great run for a team that seemed in deep crisis not long ago. The Red Devils have won their last two Premier League matches, 2-1 at home against Everton and 2-1 at Bournemouth, and this week they pulled off a surprising 2-1 victory at Juventus in the Champions League. That doesn't change their position in the Premier League table, though, they are still down in seventh place and seven points behind leaders Manchester City. Romelu Lukaku is an injury doubt for Sunday's game after having missed the last couple of matches.
Man City: Ederson - Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Mendy - B. Silva, Fernandinho, D. Silva - Mahrez, Aguero, Sterling
Man United: De Gea - Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw - Herrera, Matic, Pogba - Mata, Rashford, Martial
My prediction: Manchester City to win 3-1, the Red Devils won't be able to cope with Guardiola's football machine.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Great guess Johnny ;)
My pre-match prediction would of been 3-0 and I think I'd almost got that right because the United goal came out of nothing without they creating any clear situation really.
No need to say City won more than deservedly..but that shouldn't be that tough against the hopeless Mourinho's side.
