Serie A: AC Milan vs Genoa preview
AC Milan and Genoa play their postponed Serie A match on Wednesday, the two teams meet at Giuseppe Meazza Stadium hoping to get some points and move up the table. Last season Genoa managed to grab a goalless draw in Milan, but they got punished by the Rossoneri in the reverse fixture when Andre Silva scored in stoppage time to give the visitors all three points. AC Milan have won three of the last six direct meetings, while Genoa have won two. However, Genoa have not won an away match at AC Milan since 2015, when they recorded a 3-1 victory. AC Milan had a pretty good season so far, and they did well to recover from two consecutive defeats in all competitions with a 3-2 victory over Sampdoria last weekend. Patrick Cutrone, Gonzalo Higuain and Suso scored in that match as AC Milan fought back from 2-1 down to secure the win. Before that victory the Rossoneri lost 1-0 in the "Derby della Madonnina" against rivals Inter and 2-1 at home in the Europa League against LaLiga side Betis. AC Milan can move up to fourth place if they win this match. Davide Calabria picked up a knock during last weekend's match and will be unavailable for this fixture, while Andrea Conti, Ivan Strinic, Mattia Caldara and Giacomo Bonaventura remain sidelined. Genoa are navigating quietly in the middle of the Serie A table at the moment, they have caused some trouble to big teams this season but they have also lost matches that they shouldn't have. Before the last international break they lost 3-1 at home against Parma, but after that they stunned champions Juventus and grabbed a 1-1 draw in Turin. Last weekend Genoa got held to a 2-2 draw at home by Udinese after having led 1-0 and 2-1. Christian Romero is suspended for Wednesday's match, while Nicolas Spolli, Federico Marchetti and Andrea Favilli are injured. Probable line-ups: AC Milan: Donnarumma - Abate, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez - Suso, Kessie, Biglia, Laxalt - Higuain, Cutrone Genoa: Radu - Biraschi, Gunter, Criscito - Pereira, Sandro, Romulo, Lazovic - Bessa - Kouame, Piatek My prediction: AC Milan to win 2-1, the Rossoneri seem determined to win this one and Genoa don't have any pressure. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: AC Milan win - 1.44 Draw - 4.50 Genoa win - 7.50
