LaLiga: Sevilla vs Real Madrid preview
In-form Sevilla are hoping to cause on upset and delight their home fans when they host mighty Real Madrid at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday. Last season Sevilla pulled off a spectacular 3-2 victory at home over Real Madrid, a match in which Sergio Ramos missed a penalty kick, then scored an own-goal and eventually scored a goal as well. That was the third consecutive home win for Sevilla over Real Madrid in LaLiga, and the Blancos have not tasted victory in the league at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan since 2015. Last season Real Madrid defeated Sevilla 5-0 at Santiago Bernabeu. Sevilla have been in great scoring form lately, they have bagged no less than eleven goals in last week's two matches. Their scoring spree started with a 5-1 victory over Standard Liege in the UEFA Europa League, and last weekend they continued with a 6-2 triumph at Levante in LaLiga. Those two results have been more than welcome as a recovery after two consecutive defeats, and a good result against Real Madrid would significantly boost their confidence. Sergio Escudero, Gabriel Mercado, Maxime Gonalons and Ibrahim Amadou are injured and won't be in the match squad on Wednesday. Real Madrid have extended their unbeaten streak to six games in all competitions last week, they kicked things off with a comfortable 3-0 victory over AS Roma in the Champions League and then followed it up with a 1-0 victory over Espanyol in LaLiga. It is true that the match against Espanyol has been a rather scrappy affair, but Real are proving that they are strong enough to win their matches even when not playing too well. Dani Carvajal is the only injury concern for head coach Julen Lopetegui, while Toni Kroos will most likely return to the starting eleven after being rested at the weekend. Probable line-ups: Sevilla: Vaclik - Carrico, Kjaer, Gomez - Navas, Banega, Mesa, Arana - Sarabia, Yedder, Vazquez Real Madrid: Courtois - Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo - Modric, Kroos, Ceballos - Bale, Benzema, Asensio My prediction: 2-2 draw, Real Madrid will have problems again at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and they might not be strong enough to get all three points. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Sevilla win - 4.33 Draw - 4.10 Real Madrid win - 1.70
