Premier League: Fulham vs Watford preview
Newly-promoted Fulham are looking to grab their second Premier League win of the season when they host high-flying Watford at Craven Cottage in London on Saturday morning. The two teams have last met during the 2014-2015 season, when both were playing in the Championship, and back then Watford grabbed an impressive 5-0 victory in London before securing a 1-0 win at home. Fulham have not won against Watford since 2005, when they prevailed in an FA Cup match. Overall, Watford have won two of the last six direct matches, while there ended in draws. Fulham recovered well after back-to-back defeats at the start of the season, they bounced back with a 4-2 home victory over Burnley and then secured a 2-2 draw at Brighton before the international break. It is true that last week they got hammered 3-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, but those are not the matches in which the Cottagers are expected to get points. Tom Cairney missed that match through injury but he is expected to recover fast enough to at least make the bench for Saturday's game. Neeskens Kebano and Tim Ream are sidelined for the home side. Watford have been flying very high this season, they had secured five consecutive wins in all competition before the streak came to an abrupt end last weekend as the Hornets lost 2-1 at home against Manchester United. However, Watford still remain in the top four of the Premier League table after that result and they will be hoping to hold that position as long as possible. Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu is getting closer and closer to full fitness and he should make the bench for Saturday's game, while Tom Cleverley remains injured and unavailable for the match. Probable line-ups: Fulham: Bettinelli - Fosu-Mensah, Odoi, Mawson, Bryan - Anguissa, McDonald, Seri - Schurrle, Mitrovic, Sessegnon Watford: Foster - Femenia, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas - Doucoure, Cabaye - Hughes, Pereyra - Deeney, Gray My prediction: 1-1 draw, neither of the two teams will want to risk losing this match. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Fulham win - 2.37 Draw - 3.40 Watford win - 2.87
