UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich vs Sevilla preview
Sevilla are hoping to cause a huge upset at Allianz Arena on Wednesday as they visit Bayern Munich for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-finals tie. The Spaniards don't have much of a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals after having lost the first leg 2-1 at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan last week, but they don't have anything to lose. In fact, things seemed to go their way in the first leg after Pablo Sarabia opened the scoring in the first half, but an own goal and a strike from Thiago Alcantara put Bayern ahead. Bayern Munich pulled off a good fightback in the first leg and they did that again in the Bundesliga on Sunday, they fought back from 1-0 down to beat Augsburg 4-1 and secure yet another Bundesliga title. With that out of the way, they can now focus on the Champions League. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and midfielder Kingsley Coman are still injured and will miss the second leg against Sevilla, while Arturo Vidal is an injury doubt after having picked up a knock in the first leg. Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, Corentin Tolisso, Jerome Boateng and Sebastian Rudy are all just one yellow card away from suspension. Sevilla had a pretty bad week, first they lost at home to Bayern in the Champions League and then they got hammered 4-0 by Celta Vigo in LaLiga last weekend. That result dropped them to seventh place in the league table, so at the moment they would miss out on European football next season. Central defender Simon Kjaer picked up a knock and came off during the weekend match at Celta Vigo, so he might miss the second leg of this tie, but Ever Banega will be back in the first eleven after having missed the first leg through suspension. Probable line-ups: Bayern: Ulreich - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Martinez - Muller, Alcantara, Rodriguez, Ribery - Lewandowski Sevilla: Rico - Navas, Carrico, Lenglet, Escudero - N'Zonzi, Banega - Sarabia, Vazquez, Correa - Muriel My prediction: Bayern Munich to win 3-1. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Bayern win - 1.22 Draw - 7.00 Sevilla win - 15.00
