Italian side Lazio have a tough task ahead of them as they travel to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kyiv at Olimpiyskiy Stadium on Thursday in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League last-sixteen tie. Dynamo Kyiv secured a very good 2-2 draw in Rome last week, a result that gives them a slight advantage ahead of the second leg. Viktor Tsygankov opened the scoring in Rome, then Ciro Immobile and Felipe Anderson turned things around for Lazio, but Junior Moraes scored the second goal for Dynamo Kyiv on 79 minutes. That was the first time Dynamo avoided defeat against Lazio after two consecutive losses in direct matches.
Dynamo Kyiv have proven in the first leg that they are no pushovers, Lazio might have taken them lightly and they paid the price. Last weekend Dynamo grabbed a 1-0 league victory over Veres Rivne, but they are six points behind leaders Shakhtar Donetsk and they might not be able to push for the title this season. Georgi Bushchan, Serhiy Sydorchuk and Vladyslav Kalitvintsev are all injured and are expected to miss out, while Denys Garmash is suspended after getting sent off during the final moments of the first-leg match.
After three consecutive wins, Lazio seem to have forgotten the path towards victory again. First they got knocked out of the Italian Cup by AC Milan at the end of February, then lost at home to Juventus in Serie A, and then recorded consecutive 2-2 draws, first against Dynamo last Thursday and then at Cagliari in Serie A last weekend. Martin Caceres is the only injury concern for the away side as Davide Di Gennaro has returned to full first-team training after having been out since October.
Dynamo: Boyko - Kedziora, Burda, Kadar, Pivaric - Shepelev, Buyalskiy - Morozyuk, Shaparenko, Tsygankov - Moraes
Lazio: Strakosha - Felipe, De Vrij, Radu - Basta, Parolo, Leiva, Milinkovic-Savic, Lulic - Anderson - Immobile
My prediction: Lazio to win 2-1.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Lazio were considered a big favourites before the first leg but the draw at home left some doubts about their qualification.
Still at the re-match they've shown that right now they the more quality side and defeated the Ukrainian grand who's not having the best of seasons anyway, it could be said for the last decade also when they are always in the shadow of the big competitors Shakhtar.
