Back Premier League: Arsenal vs Manchester City preview

England hero Danny Welbeck could make his debut for Arsenal when the Gunners host Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday. The striker scored both goals in England's 2-0 win over Switzerland on Monday, in his first match after the deadline-day transfer from Manchester United to Arsenal. Both sides have stated their title ambitions but they haven't been able to fully prove them on the pitch so far.

Arsenal are unbeaten so far but mostly due to late goals while the Citizens have already lost one match, a surprising 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Stoke City before the international break. Manchester City have not lost consecutive Premier League matches since 2010. Stevan Jovetic will be unavailable for the visitors and that's a fairly important blow considering he has already scored two goals this season.

Bacary Sagna, who made 286 appearances during a seven-year spell with Arsenal, could play against his former team for the first time since he left them on a free transfer in May. Aaron Ramsey is in doubt for the home side while Danny Welbeck should start up front instead of Yaya Sanogo. Arsenal are undefeated in 19 Premier League home games. The Gunners won their last meeting with the Citizens, 3-0 in the Community Shield a month ago.

Probable starting line-ups:

Arsenal: Szczesny - Debuchy, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal - Arteta, Flamini - Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez - Welbeck

Man City: Hart - Sagna, Demichelis, Kompany, Kolarov - Silva, Toure, Fernandinho, Nasri - Aguero, Dzeko

My prediction: 1-1 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Arsenal win - 2/1 Draw - 5/2 Manchester City win - 29/20
