Real Madrid: Zinedine Zidane going through "worst moment"

Former world champion and football legend Zinedine Zidane is going through a very difficult period as Real Madrid head coach: they are virtually out of the title race in LaLiga and they also lost the chance to win the Copa del Rey after minnows Leganes knocked them out in the quarter-finals on Wednesday. Real Madrid are no less than 19 points behind leaders Barcelona in LaLiga, while in the Spanish Cup they threw away their 1-0 lead after the first leg as they lost 2-1 in the second leg and got knocked out due to the away goals rule.

"It's a fiasco," Zidane said after the match. "My worst moment as a coach. I don't regret anything I did in the game, though. I take responsibility for what I do. To start this tie in the manner we did it's really bad," added Zidane. "For that I'm angry. I don't understand what's going on." The Frenchman, a club legend as a player, did have impressive results as a head coach as well. He has won eight major trophies with the Blancos since he took charge in January 2016 and last season they recorded an impressive 40-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Their only chance of winning a major trophy this season is the Champions League, Real Madrid qualified for the first knockout round but they finished second behind Tottenham in the group stage and will have to face mighty Paris Saint-Germain. The first leg of that clash takes place on February 14 and 45-year-old Zidane admitted that his future at Santiago Bernabeu depends on the outcome of that tie: "I'm responsible for this, I'm the boss. I have to find the solutions. We've found some of them but not consistently enough. I need to take responsibility and I'll always fight."

Real Madrid are currently 8/1 at Bet365 to win the Champions League this season.

There's a rumours Real is interested in Tottenham Hotspurs manager Pochetino which I find a bit disloyal from the clubs side, if it's true, because Zidane is still their coach.
Obviously the moment is very tough for him but they still have the CL to 'save' up the season and they been traditionally doing well in this tournament.
I think the least club owns to Zidane is letting him at the position till the end of season and being judged by the results after that.
