Premier League: Crystal Palace vs Burnley preview
Surprise package Burnley are looking to snap out of their recent poor streak when they visit Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, while the Eagles are trying to record their third consecutive Premier League match without defeat. The Clarets won the reverse fixture 1-0 in September thanks to an early goal from Chris Wood. That was the third consecutive win for Burnley against Crystal Palace, the Eagles have not beaten the Clarets since 2015. Overall, Burnley have won four of the last six direct matches in all competitions. Crystal Palace are doing a lot better these days compared to the start of the season, but relegation is still a worry for the Eagles as they are just two points above the drop zone. They suffered a 2-1 defeat at Brighton on Monday, thus ending their run in the FA Cup this season, but six days before that they recorded a very important 2-1 victory at Southampton in the Premier League and have lost just one of their last eleven league matches. Manager Roy Hodgson still has lots of injury concerns as Connor Wickham, Mamadou Sakho, Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon and Joel Ward remain sidelined while Andros Townsend and Jeffrey Schlupp picked up serious injuries in Monday's match. Burnley are going through a rough patch, they have not won any of their last six matches in all competitions and dropped to seventh place in the Premier League table. Last weekend they lost 4-1 at Manchester City in the FA Cup, five days after having lost 2-1 at home against Liverpool in the Premier League. Tom Heaton and Robbie Brady are injured and won't be able to play on Saturday, while Scott Arfield, Stephen Ward and Chris Wood are fitness doubts as they might recover just in time. Probable line-ups: Crystal Palace: Speroni - Fosu-Mensah, Kelly, Tomkins, Van Aanholt - Zaha, Milivojevic, Cabaye, McArthur - Sako, Benteke Burnley: Pope - Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor - Gudmundsson, Cork, Defour, Nkoulou - Hendrick - Barnes My prediction: 1-1 draw. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Crystal Palace win - 2.00 Draw - 3.20 Burnley win - 4.00
