Premier League: Crystal Palace vs Manchester City preview
Crystal Palace will be looking to end their losing streak but they will have a tough Saturday afternoon as title favourites Manchester City come to visit Selhurst Park. Last season Manchester City beat Crystal Palace on all three occasions, 1-0 away and 4-0 at home in the Premier League, and 5-1 in the League Cup. Crystal Palace did beat the Citizens 2-1 at Selhurst Park two seasons ago, but that was their only positive result in the last five matches against Manchester City. Crystal Palace are now just one point above the relegation zone, after having lost all their last four Premier League matches. They have not won a match since a 3-2 victory at last-placed Sunderland all the way back in September. Last time out they were quite unfortunate to lose 3-2 at Burnley, they had fought back from 2-0 down but then conceded a goal in stoppage time. Pape Souare, Loic Remy and Jonathan Benteke are all injured, but manager Alan Pardew is also worried about the fitness of Steve Mandanda and Bakary Sako. Manchester City can't seem to be able to keep their level of play high enough for a long period of time. They followed up a 4-0 Premier League victory at West Brom with a sensational 3-1 victory against Barcelona in the Premier League, but then they got held to a 1-1 draw by Middlesbrough at the Etihad Stadium before the international break. Fabian Delph is injured and won't be able to play on Saturday, while Bacary Sagna, Vincent Kompany and Fernando are all in doubt after recent knocks. Probable line-ups: Crystal Palace: Mandanda - Ward, Tomkins, Dann, Kelly - Cabaye, McArthur - Zaha, Puncheon, Townsend - Benteke Man City: Bravo - Zabaleta, Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov - Fernandinho - De Bruyne, Gundogan, Silva, Sterling - Aguero My prediction: Manchester City to win 3-1. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Crystal Palace win - 6.50 Draw - 4.33 Man City win - 1.50
