Premier League: Everton sign Sandro Ramirez
Premier League side Everton have completed the signing of Spanish striker Sandro Ramirez from LaLiga club Malaga. The transfer was quite a bargain for the Toffees as the player had a buy-out clause of 5.2 million pounds in his contract with the Spanish club. Sandro Ramirez has signed a four-year contract with Everton. He joined Malaga last summer from Barcelona and scored 14 goals for the club last season. He is a product of the famous La Masia youth academy as he joined Barcelona at the age of 14. "This is a big step in my career," Sandro said after signing the contract with the Toffees. "Everton is the ideal club for me, I've got the ideal manager who is going to keep giving me the confidence to improve my game. It's a big jump in my career coming to the Premier League and for a club like Everton which is really on the up. They have got big plans and want to succeed and keep developing." Sandro scored 7 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona before being sold to Malaga. Everton are still working on the transfer of central defender Michael Keane from Burnley in a deal that is believed to be worth around 25 million pounds. Everton have spent quite a bit of money on their first two transfers of the summer, they have already signed Sunderland's England's Under-21 international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for around 30 million pounds and also bough Ajax captain Davy Klaassen for almost 24 million pounds. The Toffees have also signed Nigeria striker Henry Onyekuru but he will spend next season on loan at Belgium champions Anderlecht. Everton are 11/4 at Bet365 to finish inside the Premier League top six next season.
