UEFA Europa League: Manchester United vs FK Rostov preview
Manchester United will try to advance to the Europa League quarter-finals when they face Russian side FK Rostov at Old Trafford on Wednesday. The Red Devils clinched a decent result in the first leg, a 1-1 draw after Henrikh Mkhitaryan had opened the scoring in the first half. Aleksandr Bukharov made it all square after the break, giving FK Rostov some hopes ahead of the second leg. Manchester United are not going through a great period at the moment, they have not won any of their last three games in all competitions and got knocked out of the FA Cup after losing to Chelsea on Monday. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was suspended for that match but he can make his return in the Europa League, while Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are injury doubts. FK Rostov will be quite confident heading into this match as they have not lost a single game in 2017. It's true that their season re-started in February after a long winter break and it's also true that they have won just two of their five competitive matches this year. However, they have proven hard to beat and if they manage to score a goal at Old Trafford, then things could get quite difficult for favourites Manchester United. Timofei Kalachev and Aleksandru Gatcan are suspended for Thursday's match. Probable line-ups: Man United: Romero - Valencia, Rojo, Bailly, Blind - Herrera, Pogba - Mata, Mkhitaryan, Martial - Ibrahimovic Rostov: Medvedev - Mevlja, Navas, Kudryashov - Terentjev, Erokhin, Prepelita, Noboa, Bayramyan - Bukharov, Poloz My prediction: Manchester United to win 1-0. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Man United win - 1.25 Draw - 6.00 Rostov win - 16.00
