Premier League: Swansea - Southampton
Swansea will be looking to secure their second consecutive Premier League victory when they host Southampton at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday. Southampton won the reverse fixture 1-0 with a goal from Charlie Austin, the third consecutive win for the Saints against the Swans. In fact, Southampton have won six of the last seven direct meetings and Swansea have not beaten them at the Liberty Stadium since 2008, when both teams were playing in the Championship. Swansea secured a stunning 3-2 victory at Liverpool last time out, their third win out of the last nine Premier League matches. However, they have not won a home match since December, when they pulled off a 3-0 victory over fellow relegation strugglers Sunderland. Manager Paul Clement has to do without Jefferson Montero and Neil Taylor, both injured, while Modou Barrow, Leroy Fer, Ki Sung-yueng and Leon Britton are fitness doubts. Southampton had three consecutive wins in all competitions before last weekend, when they suffered a crushing 5-0 defeat at home against Arsenal in the FA Cup. They have won just one of their last five matches, that was last time out against Leicester City, and then secured their passage to the League Cup final after beating Liverpool. Virgil van Dijk will be out for around three months, so Claude Puel has real problems in the middle of his defence as he also lost Jose Fonte. Probable line-ups: Swansea: Fabianski - Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson - Cork, Carroll - Sigurdsson, Fer, Narsingh - Llorente Southampton: Forster - Soares, Yoshida, Stephens, Bertrand - Davis, Romeu, Ward-Prowse - Redmond, Rodriguez, Tadic My prediction: Swansea to win 2-1. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Swansea win - 3.30 Draw - 3.30 Southampton win - 2.38
