Sunderland's fight for survival in the Premier League continues and they face reigning champions Leicester at the Stadium of Light on Saturday. This game has higher stakes than it might seem, there are just five points between the two teams and a defeat for the Foxes will suck them right into the struggle to avoid relegation. Last season Leicester won both league matches against the Black Cats, 4-2 at home and 2-0 away, but this season Claudio Ranieri's team is just a shadow of the side that took everyone by surprise a year ago.
Sunderland had their two-game winning streak snapped last weekend as they lost 2-0 at Liverpool. In fact, those two wins were the only league wins they had gathered this season and the defeat at Liverpool shouldn't have hurt their confidence too much. They need to win against fellow relegation contenders, and Leicester might slip into that category sooner or later. Manager David Moyes is still struggling to overcome an injury crisis, as Paddy McNair, Lee Cattermole and Fabio Borini are still out of contention. Jack Rodwell and Vito Mannone might recover, while Jan Kirchoff and Sebastian Larsson should be ready to play.
Things are rough for Leicester City these days, despite their historic achievement of earning qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Their Premier League form is quite worrying as they have not won in four matches, losing two in the process. Last weekend they barely snatched a 2-2 home draw against newly-promoted Middlesbrough thanks to a stoppage-time penalty kick converted by Islam Slimani. Kasper Schmeichel is still injured, while Danny Drinkwater has two more games left on his suspension. Jamie Vardy, last season's hero, might have to sit on the bench this time as he has been unable to find his goal scoring boots so far.
Sunderland: Pickford - Jones, Kone, Djilobodji, Van Aanholt - Denayer, Ndong, Pienaar - Watmore, Defoe, Anichebe
Leicester: Zieler - Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs - Mahrez, King, Amartey, Musa - Okazaki, Slimani
My prediction: Sunderland to win 1-0.

The season is very tough for Leicester but it was expected after last season feat, now they are maybe back to normal to where this team belongs.
CL participations making the season even tougher for Leicester because the don't have a potential and the depth in squad as the top sides.
Sunderland won that one in a season which would probably be another epic relegation battle for them.
