Premier League: Liverpool vs Sunderland preview
The Reds are one of the most spectacular teams in the league this season, having scored 82 goals in 30 appearances. If they beat Sunderland at Anfield on Wednesday they will be just one point behind league leaders Chelsea and in with a real chance to fight for the title. Liverpool are in top form, having secured six consecutive league wins. Their latest accomplishment was a thrilling 6-3 win at Cardiff City last weekend. "We're really looking forward to playing at Anfield now on Wednesday night," Rodgers said after the win at Cardiff. "Hopefully the supporters can really get behind the team well before kick-off, get the atmosphere revved up for the game and we'll look to continue on this great run. As you can see, we believe we can perform well and get results." Luis Suarez bagged a hat-trick at Cardiff, taking his season tally to 28 goals in 25 Premier League appearances. Liverpool defeated Sunderland 3-1 in September, with Suarez bagging two goals and Daniel Sturrdidge one. Boss Brendan Rodgers doesn't have any fresh injury concerns, with Sebastian Coates and Jose Enrique missing but Lucas and Mamadou Sakho have recovered from their injuries. Sunderland meanwhile have not won in their last four Premier League matches and are down in 18th position. The visitors could be without striker Steven Fletcher (ankle) and England Under-21 forward Connor Wickham was recalled from his loan spell at Leeds United on Monday. Here are the odds for Wednesday's match at Bet365: Liverpool win - 1/6 Draw - 8/1 Sunderland win - 16/1
