Back Premier League: Arsenal vs Tottenham preview

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will play another edition of the derby at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Both sides are enjoying solid Premier League form, the Gunners are on a five-match winning streak while the Spurs are unbeaten sinde the opening day of the season. This is the second North London derby of the season, the two sides have met in the third round of the League Cup in September and Arsenal won 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Tottenham have rarely won when visiting Arsenal, just one victory for them since 1993.

Arsenal suffered a painful defeat this week, 5-1 at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but in the Premier League they are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table. They have won all their last five matches, scoring 16 goals and conceding just 3 in the process. Last weekend Arsenal won 3-0 at Swansea with goals from Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Joel Campbell, all in the second half. Hector Bellerin has been added to the injured list, while Laurent Koscielny is in doubt for Sunday's match. Mikel Arteta will face a late fitness test.

Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League table, five points behind Arsenal. A victory in the North London derby could boost their hopes of a title challenge as they have not lost a match since the 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on the first day of the season. Since then they recorded five wins and five draws, including a sensational 4-1 victory over Manchester City. Last time out Tottenham defeated Aston Villa 3-1 on Monday and then recorded a 2-1 Europa League win over Anderlecht on Thursday. Son Heung-min is available again after a five-week absence while Clinton N'Jie could also return from injury.

Probable line-ups:

Arsenal: Cech - Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal - Coquelin, Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez, Campbell - Giroud

Tottenham: Lloris - Walker, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose - Alli, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela - Kane

My prediction: Arsenal to win 3-2.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
