UEFA Champions League: Leicester City vs FC Copenhagen preview
Defending Premier League champions Leicester City will be looking to extend their 100 percent Champions League record when they host Danish outfit FC Copenhagen at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday. As expected, the two teams have never met before as the Foxes have never played in the Champions League during past seasons. FC Copenhagen have played against English teams eight times before in European competitions but won just one of those games. Leicester City will most likely fail in their quest to defend the Premier League title, but their maiden Champions League appearance is going quite well until now. They won two out of two so far, at Club Brugge and at home against FC Porto, and they lead the table in Group G. Last weekend they lost 3-0 at Chelsea in the Premier League though, their fourth defeat out of eight matches in the domestic competition this season. FC Copenhagen are still unbeaten in all competitions this season, even though their campaign started as early as July 13, because they had to go through three qualifying rounds before reaching the group stage of the Champions League. That's 21 matches without defeat, including a 1-1 draw at FC Porto in their first group match and a comfortable 4-0 home victory over Club Brugge last time out. Probable line-ups: Leicester: Schmeichel - Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs - Mahrez, Amartey, Drinkwater, Albrighton - Slimani, Vardy Copenhagen: Olsen - Ankersen, Zanka, Johansson, Augustinsson - Verbic, Delaney, Kvist, Jensen - Santander, Cornelius My prediction: Leicester to win 1-0. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Leicester win - 1.91 Draw - 3.60 Copenhagen win - 4.50
