UEFA Champions League: Paris Saint-German vs Arsenal preview
Two of Europe's giants clash on Tuesday as Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal start their Champions League campaign with a direct encounter in Paris. Strangely enough, these two teams have never met before in an European competition even though both were usual customers in the Champions League in the past decades. The only direct meeting between the two was a friendly match back in 2007, won by Arsenal 2-1. PSG started their season with three consecutive wins but then they got beaten 3-1 by AS Monaco in Ligue 1 while last week they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Saint-Etienne. Head coach Unai Emery has a few injury headaches ahead of this match as Thiago Silva, Javier Pastore, Maxwell, Serge Aurier and Layvin Kurzawa are all in doubt for Tuesday's match. Arsenal started their season with a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool, then they recorded a goalless draw against Premier League champions Leicester before securing back-to-back wins against Watford and Southampton. Arsene Wenger has to deal with injuries once again as several first team players are out of contention and will be for quite some time. Aaron Ramsey, Per Mertesacker, Gabriel Paulista, Carl Jenkison and Danny Welbeck are injured, while Laurent Koscielny might also miss out. Probable line-ups: PSG: Areola - Meunier, Tiago Silva, Marquinhos, Kimpembe - Verratti, Motta, Matuidi - Di Maria, Cavani, Lucas Moura Arsenal: Cech - Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal - Elneny, Xhaka - Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez - Giroud My prediction: 1-1 draw. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: PSG win - 1.91 Draw - 3.75 Arsenal win - 4.33
