Back Premier League: Ahmed Musa set to join Leicester City

Premier League champions Leicester City are ready to make their biggest transfer of the summer as they have agreed a deal to sign CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa. The fee is reportedly around 16.6 million pounds for the Nigerian striker who has bagged 54 goals in 168 matches for the Russian side.

Tony Harris, who is the player's agent, said: "Everything has been finalised and Musa will be in England for his medical on Wednesday." CSKA Moscow head coach Leonid Slutsky confirmed the transfer: "He'll be leaving Tuesday. And if you look at the way things are done over there you'll see he is a player just made for English football."

Musa has been one of the best players in the Russian Premier League, winning the title three times with CSKA along with a Russian Cup. He also won the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria in 2013. Musa will become the fourth signing of the summer for Leicester City, along with goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler, centre-back Luis Hernandez and midfielder Nampalys Mendy.

Leicester City are 28/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title again next season.
