Premier League: Manchester City sign Oleksandr Zinchenko
Manchester City have confirmed the transfer of 19-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko from Russian side FC Ufa. The young midfielder played his first season as a senior this year with FC Ufa and his performances earned him a place in the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2016. He played in all three group stage matches for Ukraine. Before Euro 2016 Zinchenko became the youngest ever player to score for the Ukrainian national team, he scored in the 3-2 friendly victory over Romania to break the record that was previously held by legendary striker Andriy Shevchenko. Zinchenko is a winger that can play on their flank and his ability led the Russian media to compare him to Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. Manchester City have already signed Ilkay Gundogan, Aaron Mooy and Nolito in the current transfer window. Manchester City are 9/4 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title next season.
