UEFA have decided to punish Russia after the terrible incidents that involved the nation's fans in Marseille. Russia will be disqualified from Euro 2016 if there will be any more trouble with their fans before or during their upcoming matches. The Russian Football Union was also given a fine of 150,000 euro for disorder during the match against England in Marseille. They were also charged for racism and use of fireworks during that match. The French police have also intervened, groups of Russian fans were arrested and are being deported back to their country.
The Russian Football Union can appeal the decision, but sports minister Vitaly Mutko indicated that they are not considering that option. Mutko is also the president of the Russian Football Union and he added that they will comply with UEFA's decision: "What other position can there be?" French police have identified 150 Russian hooligans as responsible for the clashes that have taken place before the England match. Six England fans were also jailed on Monday following the clashes.
England and Russia fans are set to gather in Lille this week, as Russia play Slovakia on Wednesday in the city and England play Wales in the nearby city of Lens on Thursday. The French government has announced that 2,400 police and gendarmes will be deployed in Lens, along with a riot squad. Drinking alcoholic beverages in the streets has been banned until further notice. The British government has also announced that they will be sending more British police officers to France.
Russia play Slovakia on Wednesday and they are 7/5 at Bet365 to win that match following the 1-1 draw with England.

And what about Croatia? Isnt doing stuff that you are not allowed as a fan outside the stadium maybe twice worse then what you doing inside a stadium? I mean seriously what the hell? They almost canceled entire match, made referee to stop a match. Well all i know is that Serbia got disqualified last time fans did that vs...

Double standards uefa, double standards.

Yup, this is terrifying. And even more that it is all happening in France, who has been attacked by terrorists recently, so entire country is still in shock. I think that this is unfair how it is handled. First of all, organizers need to stop this kind of clashes, at least follow Russian and English fan around the town....

I think that this is unfair how it is handled. First of all, organizers need to stop this kind of clashes, at least follow Russian and English fan around the town. Also, English fans are famous for doing bulls**ts around the globe. So possible suspension only for Russia is unfair, for every clash you need two sides.

I have never seen so much fans clashes on such a huge tournement, looks like the police isnt prepared enough for this tournament because of terrorist threat. Who knows what can we expect if Russia get Ukraine in knock out phase or England get Germany...
