Back Primera Liga: Real Madrid could make offer for Paul Pogba

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that his club will continue to pursue big-name signings this summer. The most important of them could be Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, but the Serie A club will surely be reluctant to sell their best player. The Frenchman was a key part in the Juventus squad that clinched a fifth consecutive Serie A title and he will also be a key player in the French national team at Euro 2016. He has been constantly linked with moves to huge clubs like Barcelona or Manchester City, but so far Juventus have been able to keep him.

"Pogba is a great player, but in midfield we have six great players, so I would not want to discuss speculation," Florentino Perez said. "While he excites me, it is difficult to reach agreements if there are no termination clauses in a player's contract. If a player such as him is available, we may go for him, but would have to reach an agreement. It is very difficult to bring someone. I'll talk to Zidane. Our obligation is to be much better every year. He will decide if we can get someone better than we have."

Real Madrid came close to signing Manchester United goalie David De Gea right at the end of last summer's transfer window, but the deal fell through because the paperwork was not presented in time. Perez didn't want to reveal whether his club will make another attempt to sign De Gea this summer. "I am not the one who has to decide," Perez added. "I would say it is very difficult to manage two great players in that position."

You can bet on Pogba's future at SkyBet, here are the odds on which will be his club at the end of this summer's transfer window:

Juventus - 6/4 Chelsea - 4/1 Man City - 4/1 Barcelona - 6/1 Man Utd - 8/1 Real Madrid - 8/1
