Premier League side West Ham have made a £15m bid for AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca, according to SkySports sources. The Serie A club value the player at 19 million pounds, so there might be a negotiation between the two parties during the following days. Carlos Bacca, Colombian international aged 29, has joined AC Milan from Sevilla last summer for 21 million pounds. He scored 18 league goals for Milan last season.
West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has already expressed his desire to bring a "top striker" at the club this summer and also said that he would be willing to spend up to 30 million pounds for the right player. They have already made offers for Alexandre Lacazette and Callum Wilson but both were turned down. The Hammers are also interested in Christian Benteke and Michy Batshuayi.
West Ham have made their first signing of the summer as Havard Nordveit joined the club from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. "We have done well with our signings and we hope we can sign a few more this summer who will do equally as well or better," David Sullivan said. "We know that we need a top striker which is the hardest thing to sign. We need a 20-goal-a-season striker and that will cost us £25m or £30m. That is where the bulk of the money goes."
West Ham are 10/1 at SkyBet to finish inside the Premier League top four next season.

Like he's in European champions or something right now!? I doubt he's a "right player" though. All above stated how the guy will refuse the offer but I think its just matter of negotiations, the fact Milan stated Bacca cost 19 mill pounds shows that they are ready to sell, just they want some more cash!!

Slaven Bilis had brilliant season with the Hammers. It is normal to see the board giving him freedom and a lot of money to make every line of the team stronger.Bacca is hard target,I am not sure how much is he interested in moving to West Ham from AC Milan. It would be a step down in his career.

I highly doubt that Carlos Bacca will join West Ham side. First of all, as Cobra stated, he is playing in big club, which just got sold to a billionaire who is looking to improve the squad and contest Juventus for a Seria A title next season. Second of all, West Ham as a club is not famous by their spending huge loads of cash. They mostly rely on homegrown players and loands. So I am pretty sure this is just a rumor.

West Ham have big ambitios, but reality is different. Laccazete turned them down and Bacca will probably do same thing. Milan is in problems, but Milan is still big club, Bacca deserves to play in some team that is better than Milan and West Ham. So, it would be great signing for West Ham, but...
