Daley Blind and Juan Mata will be the first big-name players to leave Manchester United after Jose Mourinho's arrival, according to SkySports sources. New manager Jose Mourinho has visited the Carrington training ground with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and Sir Bobby Charlton on Monday. Mata and Blind are not expected to be part of Mourinho's plans for the future of Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho was the manager who sold Juan Mata to Manchester United, the Spaniard left Chelsea in January 2014 for a fee around 33.5 million pounds. He had been named Chelsea's Player Of The Season in the summer of 2013, but Mourinho chose to sell him as he was unhappy with the player's lack of pace and work rate.
Daley Blind was signed by fellow Dutchman Louis van Gaal for 14 million pounds but he doesn't seem to fit the profile of a defender that Mourinho would want in his squad. The Portuguese manager relies mostly on tall and fast central defenders and Blind lacks both attributes. Blind also voiced his disappointment after the sacking of Van Gaal, saying that he should have been given more time.

Mata is a great player, but Mourinho is a special type of coach so I'm not surprised by this decision of his . I think Mata worked well with Ibrahimovic and Pogba . Blind showed that a good player on performances for the national team . I think that Mourinho will lead his old players from Chelsea . lol

Juan Mata is really unlucky player.There is probably only one manager that would not like him in the team,and again that manager is his manager.Mata will definitely easily find new club.Barcelona is interested for a long time.Daley Blind will also have few offers,his biggest qualiy is versatility.

I feel so bad about Juan Matta. He was top assister in Chelsea back in days and Jose Mourinho sold him to United. Now, as he dislikes him probably, he will sell him again. He is top class player in my oppinion, but just unlucky with managers and sometimes with a form I assume. Blind did have decent season, but he is not...

Blind did have decent season, but he is not that top class calibre player that is requested in order for United to restore those glory days when Ferguson was in charge.

We know Mourinho don't like Mata as a player and of course he was the main reason for Chelsea selling him to United few seasons back. But for Blind I think he has a good season especially on some of the other players background and he's a quality versatile player who could pass the ball very well which is a rare quality...

But for Blind I think he has a good season especially on some of the other players background and he's a quality versatile player who could pass the ball very well which is a rare quality for a defender.United pay just 14 mill pounds for him which is nothing compared to some other of their transfers and would be big mistake if he would not be part of the team any more, Mata too. I know that Mourinho will annoy me just didn't expect to happen so fast.

Jose Mourinho is not big fan of Juan Mata, that's sure, but I think that Daley Blind is good player and he could stay in club, there is place for him. Smalling and him are good defenders, one more good defender like Varane/Stones and defance will not be problem any more, but they need new players in the middle of field......
