Borussia Dortmund have issued a strong official reaction to transfer rumours involving striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The rumours were fueled by a statement from Gabon national team head coach Jorge Cost, who said that the 26-year-old had asked not to be selected for the friendly against Mauritania because it could endanger an imminent transfer. Real Madrid and Manchester United are believed to be very interested in signing the African international, but Borussia Dortmund are determined not to sell.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke issued a no-nonsense statement: "Is Aubameyang set to leave? That's b******t," he said in a brief interview with a German newspaper. French-born Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang started his professional career in Italy, at AC Milan, but he never got to play a league match for the team. He was loaned out to various French sides before making a permanent move to Saint-Etienne in 2011. He scored 29 league goals in 54 appearances for the French club.
In 2013 Aubameyang joined Borussia Dortmund, where he scored a hefty 54 goals in 94 league appearances. This season was a great one for the striker, who bagged 39 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions. Borussia Dortmund finished second in the Bundesliga and played the German Cup final but were defeated by bitter rivals Bayern Munich. Aubameyang is one of the best African players at the moment, he scored 20 goals in 49 appearances for the Gabon national team.

I'm writing that almost couple of months after the news have been published here and I still don't know about Dortmund selling the guy so I guess it would stay in the end although there is still time for a late transfer. Dortmund all ready sold some of their keen players from last seasons so it might be a priority for them...

Dortmund all ready sold some of their keen players from last seasons so it might be a priority for them to keep at least Aubameyang.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, alongside Marco Reus is the only fantastic player left in the squad of Borrussia Dortmun, after selling of Mats Hummels.Dortmund must find the way to keep Aubameyang in the squad. As long as they have him in the squad, they will be attractive to other top class players.

Aubameyang is great player, but in my opinion, he should stay in Dortmund. Borrusia is great team, they are playing offensive and they have specific style of game, the best system for Aubameyang. In big teams like Real, City, he won't have the same role like in BVB. Soo, he must be caraful with choosing, I would recommend...
