DFS Discussion Planned for Amsterdam Affiliate Conference
The Daily Fantasy Sports industry continues to be major topic of discussion in 2016. While the US struggles with the legalities of it all, the European market wonders whether there's a place for it in regions where sports betting is legal. Despite the debates leading US operators are progressing and they've moved beyond the American market and straight into the UK and the rest of Europe. Major players in the European market have competition in DraftKings and FanDuel now that they've entered the market. Operators are moving forward whether opinions regarding the validity of DFS in certain countries support or oppose the concept of placing wagers on fantasy sports. The subject is one that has made its mark on the industry so quickly and the proof is in the upcoming schedule for the 2016 Amsterdam Affiliate Conference (AAC). A panel discussion, "Daily Fantasy Sports affiliation: An unexploited opportunity", is planned for June 8th and the lineup includes speakers, Paul Archer, International Affiliate Manager at DraftKings, and Valery Bollier, the co-founder and CEO of OulalaGames. Additional speakers to be announced.
