The United Kingdom-based gambling company, Bet365, has just achieved a major feat that no other betting operator has yet to accomplish. The company has accumulated over 19 million customers since it was originally founded in 2000. It has also earned a reputation as one of the world's leading gambling groups, so it may not come as much of a surprise to many, that it has been named the first to secure naming rights on a premier league stadium.
This past Thursday, Bet365 announced that it has signed a contract, resulting in a six-year deal with Stoke City FC's home stadium. The location will now be referred to as 'Bet365 Stadium,' beginning the 2016-17 English Premier League season.
Prior to the recent arrangement, Bet365 had already served as Stoke's shirt sponsors, which has now been extended for an additional three years, following this stadium rights deal. The two have a further history, as Stoke City is owned by the Coates family, whose head, Peter, actually founded Bet365. Stoke City is expected to earn a sum of £8 million per year as a result.
This marks a major milestone for the gambling company. While others of its kind have attempted to do the same, Bet365 is the first to succeed.
Stoke City has also announced plans to expand its stadium, which will move quickly, and is estimated for completion before the start of the 2016-17 season. It current capacity stands at 30,000, and with the expansion, the stadium is expected to accommodate an additional 2,000 seats.

No doubtfully Bet365 is the world leading sports book and thanks to a foolish like me they could buy themselves the name of every stadium over the world if they wish of course. I respect the fact that they are dedicated to their partnership for many years to a Stoke team which is not one of the leading teams in England...

I respect the fact that they are dedicated to their partnership for many years to a Stoke team which is not one of the leading teams in England but I guess it's because Stoke is the place when all started for Bet365.

I was always for betting sites and sport being on long distance, same as it goes for sports and politics. We are seeing more and more betting scandals lately, and for Premier League team to name their stadium bet365 is rubbish. This will attract more and more people to bet on them (obliviously) and as mannixx said who the hell knows what kind of deal might be under a table. It only takes one fixed match per season for them to have huge winnings. I will definitely avoid betting on Stoke City in the future.

This is huge thing for bet365.It is enormously hard to do thing like this in Premier League. This is fantastic move by their management. They will find much new customers who are fans of Stoke and they will become even more popular in the all world. This is good proof how powerful bet365 really is.
