Italian striker Mario Balotelli has revealed he would prefer to remain at AC Milan instead of returning to Liverpool, the club that he is under contract with. The 25-year-old controversial forward is currently on loan at AC Milan. He joined Liverpool in 2014 but only managed to score one goal in a whole Premier League season. He didn't do much better during this campaign in the Serie A, he bagged just one league goal so far.
"I want to stay at Milan," Balotelli said in an interview at Italian Pay-TV channel Mediaset Premium. "I do not want to return to Liverpool. I was never happy at Liverpool. I've been doing well in my last two games and there are another six for me to prove myself. Besides, Milan have the money." AC Milan could try a permanent transfer for Balotelli during the summer transfer window, but new head coach Cristian Brocchi might not be too keen on that deal going through if Balotelli doesn't prove himself.
"The important thing is that he plays every single game for the team," Brocchi said about Balotelli. "I don't need someone who just runs when he has the ball at his feet. I've found Mario to be eager, he promised me that he'd give everything. In the past he knew he would have other options, but now he knows he doesn't have any more." During his first spell at AC Milan, between 2013 and 2014, Mario Balotelli scored 26 league goals in 43 appearances.
Mario Balotelli is 7/5 at Bet365 to score a goal in Thursday's Serie A match between AC Milan and Carpi.

It's obvious that Balotelli feels himself best in Italy and Milan but in previous seasons he also managed to show the best of his play in the club. This season he had done nothing to deserve staying in the club and maybe Milan won't be bother spending for him although I don't think Liverpool will be fancy to keep him either,...

Well ofcourse he wants to remain at the club since he has no other way. He went up and down the Europe until he was 23, and now AC Milan is only big club that still wants him, since they have financial issues and there is no other star player (if we can still call Mario Balloteli that name) available for them. Well ofcourse he wants to remain at the club since he has no other way. He went up and down the Europe until he was 23, and now AC Milan is only big club that still wants him, since they have financial issues and there is no other star player (if we can still call Mario Balloteli that name) available for them. Still, for the past three seasons Balloteli wasn't peeking his huge talent, seems like another football fail down, something similar to Adriano.
