West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has uncovered one of the club's targets for the summer transfer window: Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Paris Saint-Germain. The Swedish star has already announced his plans to leave France at the end of the season as his contract with PSG runs out. The towering striker has never played in the Premier League before and might be tempted to try English football before ending his career.
"We have a list of strikers all over Europe and most of our money will go into signing a striker," Sullivan said in a talkSPORT interview. "That is the plan for next season. I'd love Ibrahimovic from PSG but whether he'd come to us I don't know. I know he's 34 and he's a fantastic player."
West Ham have also been linked with the likes of Christian Benteke for instance in their quest to reinforce the attack. "There are a number of top Premier League players we may be bidding for, top goalscorers, but I can't name them," Sullivan added. I can't comment on players from other teams. The squad we have at West Ham now is the best we've had in six years, by a long, long way. We will be adding to that squad in the summer and hopefully we'll be a bit better next year."
You can bet on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's next club at Unibet, here are some of the odds:
Man United - 7/2 Chelsea - 8/1 Arsenal - 10/1 Liverpool - 15/1 L.A. Galaxy - 17/1

After all speculations around his name I don't expect to see him in West Ham uniform, although it would be funny. Never liked that guy, for me he's one of the most overrated strikers ever and the fact that he had never stay at one place for more than 2-3 seasons is also indicative for his character I think. Anyway he obviously wants to play in PL now and few clubs are interested but as a MU fan I hope I would never see him in the club's uniform.

He is the only top class player from whom I can expect him to play in a small club. On one ocassion he said that every players dream is to play in Premier League. He also said that there are some offers from England. I'd like to see him playing for West Ham,but i dont believe that's going to happen . For United or for City...

I'm sure that those posts about Ibrahimovic retiring are just a rumors. He still got it, he still wants to play and has same desire as he used to five years ago.But he had enough of Paris and French league in general. PSG is winning league easily and he wants one more challenge before he retires. I would rule out MLS for now, mb in two years he might go in USA. Premier League has been only one that he didn't play in, only trophy that he doesn't have. And with all this great shuffle of managers in EPL, there is real chance that some of them would like Ibrahimovic as their lead striker on two year contract.

I see absolutely no chance for Ibrahimovic to sign for West Ham. No offence but he is well out of their league. I can see him in some top club like Real Madrid or somewhere in USA or Middle East. He hinted that he maybe even retires after this season. But that is Zlatan, nothing is certain with him.
