After a goalless first leg Atletico Madrid play host to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday in a match that will decide which of the two teams will advance to the Champions League quarter-finals. The only previous clash between these two teams was back in 2008, in the group stage of the same competition, and Atletico Madrid won both matches: 3-0 in Holland and 2-1 at home.
Atletico Madrid have been in superb form lately, after the goalless draw against PSV they secured four consecutive league wins, including away triumphs over rivals Real Madrid and Valencia. They have not lost a match since the end of January, when they were defeated 2-1 by Barcelona. They are second behind the Catalan giants in the Primera Liga table, eight points behind the leaders and four clear of third-placed Real. Tiago and Stefan Savic will be unavailable through injury, but all the other players are fit and ready to go.
PSV are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, with 5 wins and 2 draws in the process. However, last time out they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Heerenven, a result which left PSV top of the Dutch top flight table, but just one point clear of second-placed Ajax. PSV are clear underdogs in this meeting but on the other hand they have absolutely nothing to lose here. They will enjoy an improved attack compared to the first leg as towering striker Luuk de Jong will be back in the starting line-up after having served a suspension. Gaston Pereiro is suspended for the second leg while Simon Poulsen is out injured.
Probable line-ups:
Atletico: Oblak - Juanfran, Gimenez, Godin, Filipe Luis - Niguez, Gabi, Koke, Carrasco - Griezmann, Torres
PSV: Zoet - Arias, Bruma, Moreno, Willems - Propper, Hendrix, Guardado - Narsingh, De Jong, Locadia
My prediction: Atletico to win 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Atletico win - 1.30 Draw - 5.50 PSV win - 13.00

In the end Atletico goes trough but it was a lot tougher than the expected, after penalties. PSV players and management deserved all the credit for their performance not only in those two games but in the whole tournament this season. Atletico will face Barcelona next but they'll have to be a lot better if they want to...

Johnny, this is pretty much what everyone is expecting, including me. Followed it up with 1&0-2 goals bet, hopefully with Atletico winning 1:0 . PSV wasn't bad at all in their first match, which raises concern if they score goal, what will be outcome. Of course that Atletico is huge favorite going into tonight's match,...

Of course that Atletico is huge favorite going into tonight's match, but it's football - anything can happen. Home team scores less goals they average and I completly agree that match is gonna me less then 2.5 goals. My predictions: - Result: 1:0 for Atletico Madrid; - Man of the match: Antoine Griezmann

I agree with your prediction. I dont believe that PSV will achieve a goal tonight. I have bet on Atletico to lead at halftime and win at fulltime . I would like to Torres achieve at least one goal tonight. He is a top striker who just cant find his form. He needs some goals to build up his confidence.
