Two sides with a great need for three points meet at Carrow Road on Saturday when relegation-threatened Norwich City face dwindling title contenders Manchester City. Norwich have slipped into the relegation zone while Manchester City are staring at a 10-point gap between them and leaders Leicester City. The two teams have already met twice this season, and Manchester City won both times: 2-1 in the Premier League and 3-0 in the FA Cup. Norwich have not beaten Man City at Carrow Road since 2001.
The Canaries have not won a match since January 2nd, they lost 10 games since then and recorded only one draw. As a result of that poor patch they have dropped into the relegation zone and things are starting to look gloomy for Alex Neil and his players. They have conceded 54 goals until now, only bottom side Aston Villa have let in more. However, a win could lift the Canaries out of the relegation zone, the last time that they got all three points at Carrow Road was against Southampton at the start of January.
Manchester City hammered Aston Villa 4-0 last weekend to recover after three consecutive Premier League defeats, now they have to face another relegation candidate. They did lift the League Cup and also secured a good first-leg result in the Champions League against Dynamo Kiev, but the domestic league performance has not been exactly pleasing. Manuel Pellegrini will probably field an unchanged starting line-up, hoping for a repeat of the performance against Aston Villa.
Probable line-ups:
Norwich: Ruddy - Pinto, Klose, Martin, Bennett, Brady - Howson, Dorrans, Redmond, Naismith - Bamford
Man City: Hart - Sagna, Kompany, Otamendi, Clichy - Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Sterling - Aguero
My prediction: Manchester City to win 4-1.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Norwich win - 6.00 Draw - 4.20 Man City win - 1.60

Manchester City is playing with two strikers, Bony and Aguero, so I expect a lot of goals. Very important game for them if they want to win the title and be in front of Arsenal. Norwich just doesn't have what it takes to win this one, they dont have that quality, or form. With no surprises today, I expect a convincing...

It's oblivious who is a favorite in this one. Manchester City can't let this one slip up, since anything but victory in this match would guarantee that they are out of championship race. Home team, Nowich, has to battle for survival, but they will have to look for points somewhere else. Everything is on away teams side:...

Home team, Nowich, has to battle for survival, but they will have to look for points somewhere else. Everything is on away teams side: Manchester City have won 8 of their last 10 games against Norwich in all competitions, they are scoring at least two goals verusus their todays opponent.. Norwich is also in bad streak, losing 8 out of 9 matches lately. I'll bet this one with hendikep win for Manchester City with some nice odds. My predictions: - Result: 3:0 for Manchester City; - Man of the match: David Silva
