Manchester City star striker Sergio Aguero has revealed his intentions to leave the club when his current contract runs out. He is currently on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium, a deal which expires at the end of the 2018-2019 season. Aguero has bagged 128 goals for the Citizens since 2011, when the club paid 38 million pounds to bring him from Atletico Madrid. He has helped them to clinch two Premier League titles.
Aguero is now 27 years old and said he will most likely return to Independiente, his boyhood club, and retire there. "At City they know what I want to do, they know I want to return to Argentina," he said. "My family know that I am going to go there when my contract with Manchester City finishes in 2018."
Sergio Aguero has scored 16 goals in 21 Premier League appearances so far this season, he is in a race with Jamie Vardy, Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane for the top goal scorer award. Vardy leads the race with 19 goals, Lukaku has 18 while Kane has scored 17.
Sergio Aguero is currently 3/1 at Bet365 to become the top Premier League goal scorer at the end of this season.
