Sunday's match at Anfield is billed by many as the title decider, whoever wins it will get a significant boost while whoever loses it might drop out of the title race. Manchester City have two games in hand on Liverpool but the Reds have four points on the Citizens, which means the visitors can't afford a defeat at Anfield. Chelsea are also interested in this match, they are two points behind leaders Liverpool so a defeat for the Reds could put Mourinho's men in the driving seat.

Liverpool are full of confidence after nine consecutive Premier League wins but manager Brendan Rodgers insists the clash against Manchester City will not decide the title battle. "It's a significant game," he said. “It's two teams who have done extremely well this season but still have a lot of work to do after it. It's vitally important we stay calm. We showed that at West Ham last weekend. People talk about pressure, but for us it's excitement." Liverpool owe most of their success this season to strikers Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, who scored 49 of the club's 90 Premier League goals this season. Suarez could set a new record for goals in the Premier League, he needs just three more to beat the record of 31 goals held by Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo.

On the other hand City have Segio Aguero as their main goal scorer and the Argentinian will be fit to play at Anfield after four weeks on the sidelines. City have conceded just two goals in their last seven Barclays Premier League games and are unbeaten on the road since a surprising 1-0 defeat at Sunderland in November. Liverpool have lost just once at Anfield this season. Liverpool will be without Jose Enrique for this match while City will miss central defender Matija Nastasic due to a knee injury.
