Back Premier League: Leicester City vs West Bromwich Albion preview

Premier League leaders Leicester City will try to take another step towards the title when they face West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday. The Foxes overcame Norwich City last weekend thanks to a late goal from Leonardo Ulloa, while West Brom secured a 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace. The Baggies have a better record against the Foxes, with 50 wins out of 104 matches compared to Leicester's 34 victories. Moreover, West Brom have not lost in the last six away matches at Leicester, winning five of them. The reverse fixture this season was won 3-2 by Leicester.

Leicester recovered from the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal with the same bitter medicine they were served at the Emirates Stadium: a late goal. Danny Welbeck denied them a share of the spoils in London, last weekend Ulloa bagged an 89th minute goal to secure all three points for the Foxes. The result kept them top of the table, two points clear of second-placed Tottenham and five clear of Arsenal, who were beaten at Old Trafford last weekend. The Foxes have not conceded a goal at home in five games. N'Golo Kante will miss out through injury, but Jeffrey Schlupp is fully fit again.

West Brom have been in great form lately, they come into this match off the back of two consecutive league wins: 1-0 at Everton and last weekend's success over Crystal Palace. They are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment, 11 points clear of the relegation zone. They are very likely to avoid the drop, but they still need to collect some points in order to make sure, especially since their next two games are against Manchester United and Arsenal. Chris Brunt is out with a knee injury, while Jonny Evans and James Morrison will miss out due to hamstring problems.

Probable line-ups:

Leicester: Schmeichel - Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs - Albrighton, Amartey, Drinkwater, Mahrez - Vardy, Okazaki

West Brom: Foster - Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Chester - Gardner, Jacob, Fletcher - Berahino, Rondon, Sessegnon

My prediction: 0-0 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
