Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be out of contention for a "few weeks", according to manager Arsene Wenger. The England midfielder picked up the knee injury during this week's Champions League match against Barcelona. Javier Mascherano was the one responsible for the knock after a fairly rough tackle on Oxlade-Chamberlain in the first half of the match.
The midfielder left Emirates Stadium on crutches after the match, but the full extent of the injury has not been yet uncovered. "We lost Chamberlain on Tuesday. His injury is quite serious and keeps him out for a few weeks," said Wenger. The Arsenal boss added that the worst case scenario would see Oxlade-Chamberlain out for six or seven weeks. The player is scheduled to see a specialist soon.
Arsenal have three other midfielders out of contention: Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla. "It's a new injury", Wenger added. "When he has been cut in two by Mascherano, he did his knee. We have to see how big the damage is and we'll see more later. I don't think it was a malicious tackle, it was fully committed. Let's hope we have good news that it is only two or three weeks, not six or seven."
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table and they are 6/4 at Bet365 to win the title this season.

He is a solid player and would not miss the Arsenal that they already have injured players. For me, he is a player for second half, because he is a very fast, but he is not good with a first touch and creativity. Wallcot is a similar player like him, but much better than him.

Also, we saw recently what happend to a player who keept injuring multiple times as Abu Diabi was sold, to midtable french team. Nobody wants that lol xD
