Former England full back Stuart Pearce says Leicester have the best chance to win the Premier League title and that they will confirm that next weekend, when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Last weekend the Foxes recorded a surprising 3-1 defeat at title favourites Manchester City. The result gives Leicester a five-point cushion over Arsenal and Tottenham at the top of the Premier League table.
Sunday's match at Arsenal will be the last against a top-four team for the Foxes this season. Leicester started the season as relegation contenders, their odds to win the title were 5,000/1 at most bookmakers. "I hope they win it, I think they'll win it and if it was another team five points clear you'd say they're so hot favourites it's frightening," former Manchester City manager Pearce told Sky Sports.
"This team is playing with a smile on its face, with energy and goals. They're going to Arsenal with a full-strength side once again, they've only got 13 games to play for the title," Pearce added. "Once they get this Arsenal game out of the way they've got three out of four at home, then they play Crystal Palace away, then they've got another three out of four at home. For me it's there for them. I think they'll win the league, I really do."
Leicester are currently 2/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.

Needless to say that the Leicester surprised everyone this season so far, really think that no one expected such a good performance like this, it's just you see the odds the bookmakers at the beginning of the championship. You are absolutely right. Until now they were playing with no pressure, totally relaxed. probably because even they didnt believe that they have a chance of winning the title. So far there wasn't any expectations toward the team but now when they have more than a decent chance the pressure will be much harder I think and the question is how Ranieri team will respond to the nerves. No doubt they are the team that most deserves the title because of their inspired performance and braveness trough all the season so hopefully they will get what they've deserved in the end.

This is a dream season for them. If they really beat Arsenal the next game, the title will be in their hands. They played great against the big clubs and they deserve the title. Playing in the Champions League, they'll make some serious money, probably will bring some new players and they'll become a serious club.
