Tennis: Juan Martin del Potro ready to make his return
Former ATP world number four Juan Martin del Potro will finally make his return on the circuit at Delray Beach on 15 February. He has been out of action for allmost a year due to a wrist injury. The Argentinian player, now aged 27, has won the US Open in 2009 but has not played since March 2015 when he featured in the Miami tournament. He has had to undergo surgery on his wrist on three occasions since 2010. The third surgery was in June 2015. He has urged his fans to keep their expectations reasonable: "I know you are anxious to see me play, but I ask you for patience," Del Potro said. Juan Martin del Potro is currently ranked 1041st in the world, but he will surely receive wild-cards at several tournaments in order to improve his ranking. He has played just four matches in 2015, two won and two lost, while in 2014 he had only managed to play 10 matches, winning the Sydney tournament in January. He has 445 wins and 183 losses in his career, which started in 2003.
