Premier League: Chelsea striker Loic Remy desires loan move
Chelsea forward Loic Remy is hoping to secure a loan move by the end of the January transfer window, according to sources quoted by Sky Sports. The 29-year-old French international wants more first-team football, something that he was not getting under Jose Mourinho and doesn't seem to be getting under new boss Guus Hiddink either. He was introduced as a substitute in Sunday's 1-0 win at Arsenal but failed to make an impact, despite various chances offered as the Gunners were pushing forward in search of an equaliser. Crystal Palace and Newcastle are reportedly interested in taking him on loan until the end of the season. There also was a reported interest from Premier League leaders Leicester, but the Foxes don't seem too keen on that deal any more. Remy moved to Chelsea in 2014 from Newcastle for a fee of 8.5 million pounds. This season he has made just one start in the Premier League. Earlier this month new boss Hiddink said he would not allow him to leave the club in January. He said: "He will stay until the end of the season. I have seen little of him because he repeatedly fell into injury. I am curious. I hope Remy picks it up. I hope he will deliver if he is needed." At SkyBet you can place a bet on which will be Remy's team after the January transfer window, here are the odds: Chelsea - 1/7 Crystal Palace - 3/1 Newcastle - 6/1 Spartak Moscow - 20/1
