Premier League: Norwich City sign Timm Klose
Norwich have completed the signing of Swiss central defender Timm Klose from German side Wolfsburg. The transfer fee was not disclosed. Klose is 27 years old and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Canaries. He has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Wolfsburg since joining them in July 2013. "As a player, he's got good technical ability and he's solid in the air," said Norwich manager Alex Neil. The Swiss defender is Norwich's fourth signing of the transfer window, following Matt Jarvis, Ivo Pinto and Ben Godfrey. Klose played for Wolfsburg in the surprising 3-2 Champions League victory over Manchester United in December, and also was an integral part of the Switzerland team in the Euro 2016 qualifiers. "It was always a dream to play in the Premier League and Norwich have given me a big chance," Klose said. "Now I want to give everything I can to be a good player in this league." Norwich are currently 16th in the Premier League table and they are 2/5 at Bet365 to avoid relegation this season.
