Manchester United have decided to recall Adnan Januzaj from his loan at Borussia Dortmund. The deal was supposed to last until next summer but the 20-year-old Belgium international has not played enough at Dortmund since the start of the loan agreement. He has made just 12 appearances this season and only three in the starting eleven.
Januzaj has not played at all for Dortmund since the Europa League match against Paok Thessaloniki on December 10. Before moving to Dortmund he had played four times for Manchester United at the start of the season and also scored the winning goal at Aston Villa. He is under contract with the Red Devils until 2018.
In November Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal hinted at a possible early return to Old Trafford for Januzaj. "At a club like Borussia Dortmund, all the players are also of a certain level," the manager said. "I said in advance that's a big risk, because you have to compete with other players of a higher level and that's not so easy. We have to wait and see because now he doesn't play."
Manchester United are 20/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.

In a way, it could be a good think that Adnan is coming back. As matter of a fact, he exploded a few seasons ago, when nobody was doing good job in Manchester United. So, they have a problem this season with scoring goals, and maybe this guy is going to change that. It would be a really nice football story. Van Gaal is...

Van Gaal is facing dead end, and this is his shot to try and do what ever he can to save season.

This was strange deal all the way, which shows how inadequate is Van Gaal in his management not only on the field but in the transfers too. Adnan Januzaj was first team choice since start of the season and was loaned to Dortmund??? You don't loan players from starting 11!!! Januzaj was the worst United player I think but...

Adnan Januzaj was first team choice since start of the season and was loaned to Dortmund??? You don't loan players from starting 11!!! Januzaj was the worst United player I think but why he was on the field in every game then? And if Van Gaal doesn't think that way why he loans him?? More so to a team that didn't want to sell a single player to United for the last few years despite the huge cash United put on the table on 3 or 4 occasions. And whole this ridiculous story ends with this terminated loan because Januzaj didn't even played regularly at Dortmund! Van Gaal and Ed Woodward transfer moves are even more ridiculous than United football this season, and that says all I think.
