Manchester United defeated Swansea 2-1 on Saturday, their first victory after a long winless spell, and manager Louis van Gaal believes the pressure on his team is now easing. The decreasing pressure should allow the team to play better, at least that's what the Dutch manager thinks.
Van Gaal said: "I shall think that now the pressure is lowering, the performance shall be better every week. But that is also dependent on whether or not we score goals. We always create chances."
The manager also revealed that he was pleased with how his players reacted after the poor run of results. "They are very angry that we lost so many games in a row," he said. "They are not used to that. I'm not used to that, losing four matches in a row. Never, and I have been in this profession for 25 years. So it's unusual and they are angry also and want to change the situation."
The Red Devils are currently fifth in the Premier League table, nine points behind leaders Arsenal. They are 20/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.

I wonder what's he's optimistic about?? This is worst United that I ever saw for around 30 years and not only during that streak. Van Gaal is not the right manager for United, I knew that even before his arriving at the club. Van Gaal just fills his time before pension, and that's his statement even not with those...

Van Gaal is not the right manager for United, I knew that even before his arriving at the club. Van Gaal just fills his time before pension, and that's his statement even not with those exact words. He is going to retire at last in the end of next season but should the team loss yet another season to a man who has no other motivation than the big salary? United has no future under Van Gaal and I don't know how Ed Woodward ( who is also not adequate at the transfer market by the way) and the American owners allows all that.
