Premier League: Arsene Wenger doesn't believe Chelsea can get relegated
Defending champions Chelsea are 16th in the Premier League at the moment, just one point above the relegation zone, after having lost nine of their sixteen league games so far. Despite that, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger doesn't believe that the Blues are facing a relegation battle. "If you ask me objectively 'will Chelsea go down?' I say no, no chance," said Wenger. "They are in a difficult spell but they are not in a relegation battle." The French manager has endured some serious abuse from Jose Mourinho in the past but he refused to discuss the Portuguese manager's current situation: "I do not want to assess any other things over Chelsea because it's not my problem." Morinho had said that Wenger was a "specialist in failure" and also called him a "voyeur" about a decade ago. PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says Chelsea should stick to Mourinho despite their poor season. "I have to be honest, I haven't seen Mourinho in this situation where he's struggling. Normally I am used to see him battling for the first and second place, so this is something new." PSG will face Chelsea in the Champions League last 16, and Ibrahimovic is hoping to play against Mourinho: "I think it depends on the big boss, Abramovich, what he wants. But I hope for Chelsea that he stays because we want to play against the best." Chelsea are 66/1 at Bet365 to get relegated from the Premier League this season.
