Premier League: West Ham's Manuel Lanzini out for six weeks
West Ham talented midfielder Manuel Lanzini faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with a thigh injury. The Argentinian, aged 22, picked up the knock in training on Saturday and was unable to play in the goalless draw at Manchester United. Lanzini is on loan at West Ham for the entire season from Al Jazira, one of the biggest clubs in the United Arab Emirates. He has adapted well to life in England, scoring four goals and also delivering one assist in 12 Premier League appearances this season. Winger Victor Moses, on loan from Chelsea, also picked up an injury on Saturday, but during the match at Old Trafford. The extent of the damage to his hamstring is not yet known, the player is set to have a scan on Tuesday. After a great start to the season, West Ham have now dropped to seventh place in the Premier League table after failing to win any of their last five matches. Their last win was on October 24, against defending champions Chelsea. The Hammers are 10/1 at Bet365 to clinch a top six Premier League finish this season.
