Surprise package Leicester City travel to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, hoping to hang on to their place at the top of the table. Striker Jamie Vardy has scored in 11 consecutive league matches, a new Premier League record that has pushed the Foxes up to second place in the table, tied on 29 points with leaders Manchester City. Last season Swansea beat Leicester 2-0 at home while the Foxes clinched an identical result in the reverse fixture. In fact, the home side has always won in the last seven direct meetings between these two sides.
Swansea are without a victory in their last four league matches, a poor run that leaves them 15th in the Premier League table, four points clear of the drop zone. Last weekend they lost 1-0 at Liverpool, their third defeat in the last four matches. They have snatched just three wins this season, two of them at home. Manager Garry Monk has been under some pressure lately and another negative result might bring him closer to the door. Franck Tabanou will be out with a thigh injury.
Leicester moved down to second place last weekend after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, but it definitely was a good result for the team. Jamie Vardy found the back of the net once again, bagging his 14th goal of the season. The Foxes have lost just once this campaign and are unbeaten in the last seven matches. They are unbeaten away from home this season, with four wins and three draws so far. Star striker Vardy is struggling with a couple of injury issues though, a broken wrist and a hip problem, but will probably play through the pain. Defender Richie de Laet will miss out after having picked up an injury in training, while Nathan Dyer will not play against his parent club.
Probable line-ups:
Swansea: Fabianski - Naughton, Bartley, Williams, Taylor - Britton, Ki, Routledge, Sidurdsson, Ayew - Eder
Leicester: Schmeichel - Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs - Mahrez, Kante, Drinkwater, Schlupp, Ulloa - Vardy
My prediction: 2-2 draw.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Swansea win - 2.70 Draw - 3.40 Leicester win - 2.75

I believe the good phase of Leicester will make a difference in this game, the players are very excited and playing a good soccer, especially Vardy. Everyone is expecting a good game again, and I believe it will be a game with many chances of goals for both teams, but bet to win or draw at Leicester team. *An additional...

Everyone is expecting a good game again, and I believe it will be a game with many chances of goals for both teams, but bet to win or draw at Leicester team. *An additional motivation for Leicester is that Manchester City was defeated today and Leicester can finish the round in first place.

The Welsh team are in a poor form (lost 7 out of 11 matches in all competition, scored 7 and conceded 16 goals), compared to Leicester City's current form (2nd in the Premier League, 8 wins, 5 draws and only 1 loss, 29:21 goal difference) I see a good value today on Leicester win. Vardy is on fire, Mahrez is on of the best wingers in the league, their attack is one of the most effective ones whilst their defense is decent. Leicester have scored 15 away from home goals from their 7 away matches, which is over 2 goals per away match. They know a win today is needed especially if Manchester City won't be able to collect all 3 points at the Britannia. I think the fairy tail will continue today and the Foxes will get the win. My prediction is: Leicester City to win 2-0.

Nobody expected Leicester performance to be so brilliant in the season so far but there will be a point in the season when their form will go down, it's just matter of time. The home team could play great football when they are in a mood and I think it's about time after four games winless streak.
