Manchester United travel to Vicarage Road where they face Watford on Saturday. Manager Louis Van Gaal is facing criticism even after winning matches, mainly due to the team's rather boring style. The good results were mainly earned by the defence, as United have not conceded a goal in their last five competitive matches. Michael Carrick will be out of contention after having picked up an injury while on international duty, but he should recover earlier than the initial forecast. Anthony Martial is in doubt after having picked up an injury during France's 2-0 friendly defeat against England on Tuesday.

I also thought that Manchester United will win with 1-0 today. They could do that if Watford didn`t score in 87 minute of the game. But Manchester had the strenght and power to score again in injury time (90+1) for 1-2. Manchester won today and they get all 3 points which were important.

Man Utd have six regular starters missing including the two strikers (Martial and Rooney). The home side have failed to score in 4 of their 6 home matches and United have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 6 league games. The Red Devils have a solid defense but without Rooney and Martial their goalscoring ability is decreased....

According to the latest information Rooney became ill and will not travel to London for the match. So Van Gaal remains without striker for this match. For the last 6 matches they have won just two in all competitions.Watford can be very unpleasant team at home, so I expect a close game and possible surprise.

If Van Gaal wants his team to be in contention for the title this season he should win a game like this. This will be a tough game for United I think, in fact every game is tough for them this season but in the away games the team doesn't show enough confidence. Looking likely this to be a low scoring affair so one mistake...
