A match that nearly got canceled will be played on Tuesday night at Wembley when England host France in a preparation friendly match for next year's European Championship. The match takes place just four days after the terrible terrorist attacks in Paris, which resulted in the deaths of 129 people. The French Football Federation had thought about cancelling the match but eventually decided to play it. England have not won in six matches against France, who have won four of the last six encounters.
Roy Hodgson's men saw their 15-match unbeaten streak come to an end last weekend as they suffered a 2-0 defeat in Spain. Mario Gaspar and Santi Cazorla scored for the Spanish national team, but the result seems to have been forgotten after Friday's tragic events in Paris. Roy Hodgson said: "I can't imagine how this game is going to go, quite simply because I have never been in this situation before." Jamie Vardy and Michael Carrick will be unavailable through injury, along with Fabian Delph.
France head coach Didier Deschamps gave all his players the option of not playing on Tuesday night after the shocking events that happened last weekend. Every single one of his players said that they are willing to play. France defeated Germany 2-0 on Friday at the Stade de France, while two suicide bombers detonated themselves just outside the stadium. The game went on for the full 90 minutes, with the players unaware of what was happening in the city. Both teams spent the night in the stadium.
Probable line-ups:
England: Butland - Walker, Cahill, Stones, Bertrand - Dier, Shelvey; Sterling, Rooney, Lallana - Kane
France: Lloris - Sagna, Varane, Koscielny, Evra - Schneiderlin, Pogba, Matuidi - Griezmann, Giroud, Martial
My prediction: 2-2 draw.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
England win - 2.70 Draw - 3.10 France win - 2.70

After a horror in Paris, this match was not so important about football. It was a chance to send a message of peace to the world. There was such an emotional moment when Webley sang the French national anthem.England won at the end,and it is great thing, after loss from Spain.

Still nice victory which will raise the English moral I think.

After what happened in Paris on friday, last thing on mind for French footballers is, well, football. Wembley will be in blue, white and red colours tonight and we shouldn't expect nothing but a most friendly match ever. This is gonna be friendly match, and bet vise it could go anywhere. England might ''let them win'', since after this tragedy that would put little smile on their nation's faces. I would suggest whoever wants to bet to put on both teams score. My predictions: Result: 1-2 for France; Man of the match: Paul Pogba

In my opinion France have a much better team than England, but the striker role is really empty. No doubt Martial is a future wolrd class forward but this match will be in the near future. Without Benzema I think draw is the most likely result and 1-1 or 2-2 seems a pretty good choice.

After the terrible scene in Paris, I think that no one cares about football. I do not know how it will look, I think that some players have left the team now, but this is an important message that will be sent to terrorism.
